Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or equivalent experience required.
• Strong ability to evaluate facts and liability under policy terms.
• Effective communication with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review claim and policy information for investigation background.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, and attorneys to gather data.
• Evaluate facts to determine liability and company obligations under policy.
• Prepare investigation and settlement reports and advise on exposures.
• Maintain timely administration of benefits and control the resolution process.
• Set reserves within authority and discuss changes with Team Leader.
• Review claims progress with Team Leader and propose remedial actions.
• Assist in developing methods to handle claims and settle promptly.
