Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, review claim and policy information to provide background for investigation.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, police officers, etc., to secure necessary claim information.
• Evaluate facts to determine liability and company obligations under the policy.
• Prepare reports on investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations of involved parties.
• Administer benefits timely and appropriately; maintain control of the claims resolution process.
