Responsibilities

• Under supervision, receive assignments and review claim information.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses to gather statements.
• Evaluate facts to determine liability and company obligations.
• Prepare investigation reports and settlement recommendations.
• Administer benefits timely and maintain claims resolution progress.
• Set reserves within authority and discuss changes with Team Leader.
• Assist in developing methods to improve claims handling.
• Support attorneys in preparing cases for trial.
