Sedgwick is hiring an Entry Level Claims Assistant to provide excellent customer service and internal support to an assigned team in a busy office setting in Dublin, Ohio.

The role emphasizes learning on the job, handling claims entries, notes, payments, and routine correspondence while developing professional skills and benefiting from a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.
  • Inputs and reviews notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed.
  • Processes payments.
  • Processes mail; handles filing, faxing and photocopying.
  • Reviews, prepares, creates, and/or sends letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answers and initiates telephone calls, sets up medical appointments, and may provide customer service as required.
  • Other activities/projects as assigned including the preparation and distribution of computer reports.
  • Perform administrative tasks

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To provide excellent customer service and internal support to an assigned team.

ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE? To provide support to the claims staff and to perform other office tasks depending on the client program.

Essential Responsiblities May Include

  • Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.

Qualifications

  • Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($20 - $21/hr).
