Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with billing, coding, EOBs and AR.
• Spanish language required.

Responsibilities

• Read and explain EOBs to patients and staff.
• Sort and work AR, send claims and follow up on denials.
• Maintain AR reconciliation and LMN coordination as needed.
• Prepare weekly reports and spreadsheets for management.
• Verify benefits and eligibility; set up patient payment plans.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation.
• Scan, fax, and file documents; assist billing team.
• Assist with patient follow up and charity or assistance programs.
• Collaborate with medical staff to obtain required documentation.
