Job summary

RiverStone International is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to support data-driven decisions across portfolios. You will analyze claims data, forecast losses, and prepare regular management reports to illuminate performance and trends.

Collaborating with Claims, Finance, Actuary and IT teams, you will validate data, develop dashboards, and provide actionable insights to improve accuracy, efficiency, and readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–6+ years of experience in insurance, claims analytics or financial/data analysis.
• Experience with large data sets, reporting, trend analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including modeling and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup) and BI tools (Power BI, SQL, SAP).
• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance business models and claims operations.
• Strong writing and reporting skills with clear insights.
• Attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims data across managed portfolios to identify trends and key drivers.
• Support claims forecasting activities, including loss development and reserves.
• Prepare and maintain management reporting on performance and trends.
• Partner with Claims, Finance, Actuary, IT and Operations to validate data accuracy.
• Monitor variances between actuals and forecasts and provide insights.
• Develop dashboards and data models to improve visibility into performance.
• Identify and remediate unreconciled data and reporting gaps.
• Contribute to standardization of claims processes, KPIs and governance.
• Support portfolio reviews with resource and forecast alignment.
• Track operational and reporting improvements to enhance readiness and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders on loss runs and data requests.
• Provide ad hoc analysis on claims performance and risks.
