Job description

Immediate need for a talented Claims Analyst / Data Analyst. This is a 6+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential, located in TX (Remote; CST). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 / hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shift (Start / End Time): 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. Lunch is 1 hour.
2. During training, cameras must be on, and employees should be in front of the camera showing from shoulders up.
3. This is a remote position requiring a distraction-free, secure location for discussing private information.
4. Process intake backlog for Federal Independent Dispute Request (IDR), enter data into tracking logs, and handle NSA claims special projects.
5. Interact daily with supervisor and team members via Microsoft Teams.
6. Participate in weekly meetings, sometimes with cameras on.
7. Manage open negotiation request inventory backlog.
8. Clean up backlog related to previously processed claims.
9. Validate members and understand claims to help in understanding how customers are protected.
10. Collaborate within a team handling validation, billing review, and claims routing to Claims Specialists.
11. Bring your background experience and expertise in claims to enhance understanding of claim history.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

1. Amisys Claims experience (2-5 years).
2. High school diploma or GED required; 2-4 years of experience.
3. Excel experience (1-2 years).
4. Data analytics skills.
5. Ability to verify benefits, preferably with medical field experience.
6. Strong multitasking skills and ability to think outside the box.
7. Preferred: Healthcare experience; Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
8. Preferred: Claims processing experience.
