Job description

Immediate need for a talented Claims Analyst / Data Analyst. This is a 6+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential, located remotely in TX (CST timezone). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 / hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, with a 1-hour lunch break.
2. During training, cameras must be on and employees should be visible from shoulders up.
3. This is a remote position requiring a distraction-free, secure location for discussing private information.
4. Process intake backlog for Federal Independent Dispute Request (IDR); enter data into tracking logs; handle NSA claims special projects.
5. Interact daily with supervisor and team members via Microsoft Teams.
6. Participate in weekly meetings, sometimes with cameras on.
7. Manage backlog related to previously processed claims, validate members, and understand claims to ensure customer protection.
8. Collaborate across three teams: validation (ONR), billing review (IDR), and claims routing to Claims Specialists.
9. Utilize your background and expertise in claims to understand claim histories and improve processes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

1. Amisys Claims experience (2-5 years).
2. High school diploma or GED required; 2-4 years' relevant experience.
3. Proficiency in Excel (1-2 years).
4. Data analytics skills.
5. Ability to verify benefits, preferably with medical field experience.
6. Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
7. Preferred: Healthcare experience; bachelor's degree in business or related field; claims processing experience.
