Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a claims professional with auto subrogation experience for a nationwide remote role. You will analyze claims exposure, determine the proper course of action, and collaborate with involved parties to resolve claims efficiently.

Ideal candidates have auto subrogation background and familiarit y with licensing expectations. This role emphasizes empathetic service to claimants, adherence to client policies, and timely documentation of all claim activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years related claims experience required. Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses.
• Auto Subrogation background with knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan proper actions, and resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with parties in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants exhibiting empathy throughout the claims process.
• Handle claims in line with client policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely, supporting the claim file outcome.

• This role is eligible for fully remote work

How You'll Make An Impact

• Apply claims management experience to execute decision-making to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our claimants on behalf of our clients exhibiting empathy through each step of the claims process.
• Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file.

About You

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

• Claims Background: Minimum of 2 years' experience handling auto subrogation claims
• Jurisdictional Experience: Michigan
• Active Adjusters' licenses: Not required, but preferred to have either all lines or auto adjusters license

Requirements:

• High school diploma and 2 years related claims experience required. Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements.
• Auto Subrogation background. Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
