Progressive in Tigard, OR seeks a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney represented bodily injury claims. The role is hybrid with monthly in-office meetings and ongoing coaching from a supportive team.

You will assess liability, coverage, and damages, negotiate with attorneys, and settle claims to ensure efficient resolution. The ideal candidate has strong independent work experience, familiarity with auto insurance, and a valid driver's license.

As a claims adjuster specialist,you’ll play a critical role managing attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently, experience assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, as well as working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. By joining our organization, you’ll have the support of a collaborative team that will help you grow your claims career. Read on to learn more about some of the day-to-day responsibilities.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.

Minimum qualifications

Preferred skills

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
• 12 months injury claims experience

Compensation

• You'll be paid $69,400 to $89,800/year depending on experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
