Job summary

One80 Intermediaries seeks a Claims Adjuster to join our growing team in the United States. The role centers on providing inbound customer support, verifying claims, and processing documentation and coverage decisions.

Key duties include reviewing supporting documents, approving or denying estimates up to $750, and ensuring accurate records for timely settlements. Insurance knowledge preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (courteous, thorough, and helpful).
• Adjuster’s License (preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance and warranty policies, underwriting and claim procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Verify contract information and enter new claims per client terms and conditions.
• Review documentation supporting the claim, proof of ownership, and costs.
• Issue coverage of denials or schedule servicers as needed.

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our growing team!

The Claims Adjuster will play a crucial part in providing exceptional inbound customer support by promptly and courteously addressing incoming calls.

How You Will Contribute

• Provide inbound customer support by answering incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Verify contract information, accurately enter new claims into system based on client specific terms and conditions and confirm coverage in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Review all documentation supporting the claim, proof of ownership, and parts and replacement costs.
• Issue coverage of denials where appropriate or schedule a servicer as needed to handle the damages to the customer’s property.
• Approve or deny estimates from servicers up to $750.00. Maintain email box in an efficient and timely manner, responding to customers and vendors as appropriate.
• Assure quick, accurate, and timely processing of customer requests and claims.
• Follow up and constantly review claims to ensure accuracy of records for a timely and quick settlement.

Skills & Experience to be Successful

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (courteous, thorough, and helpful).
• Adjuster’s License (preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance and warranty policies, underwriting and claim procedures (preferred).

Pay Range

$18.75 - $19.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
