Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will handle claims from start to finish with strong customer service, investigation, and communication skills, ensuring eligibility and timely resolutions. Requirements include 1–2 years of claim handling experience (3–5 preferred), excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and web applications, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years claim handling experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry standard web applications.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Preferred 3-5 years claim handling experience.
  • Bilingual is a plus, not required.

The Claims Adjuster is responsible for evaluating claims from start to finish using exceptional customer service qualities.

How You Will Contribute
  • Handles claims from initial contact through to conclusion.
  • Thoroughly investigates claims and verifies eligibility.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships seeking to enhance organizational skills.
  • Manages a high call volume with exception communication and customer service skills.
  • Successfully works independently and in a team atmosphere.
  • Skillfully adapts and uses critical thinking and problem-solving issues.
Skills & Experience to be Successful
  • Minimum 1-2 years claim handling experience.
  • Excellent have written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry standard web applications.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
