Sompo is seeking a seasoned Claims Adjuster for its Property Casualty Claims team. You will manage a claims caseload, investigate and resolve claims, and maintain system records while supporting underwriting and management with regulatory compliance and cost control.
The role requires licenses for New York and Florida, with additional licenses expected; five to ten years of P&C claims experience is preferred, including knowledge of environmental/railroad claims.
Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Claims Adjuster on our Property Casualty Claims team.
Our Claims team delivers accurate, timely, and professional claims handling in accordance with policy terms and conditions. The team works closely with brokers, clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to resolve coverage matters, manage reserves, pursue recoveries, and provide a consistently high standard of service.
In this role, you will manage a claims caseload, investigate and resolve claims efficiently, and maintain accurate documentation and system records. You will also provide claims information and insight to underwriting and management while supporting regulatory compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

$75,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
