Cottingham & Butler is launching a Claims Academy in West Des Moines or Dubuque, IA, offering hands-on training to become a skilled Claims Adjuster. From day one you will be mentored by experienced adjusters and learn the ins and outs of the claims process in a supportive environment.

The program emphasizes direct phone and email interactions, building relationships with claimants, and resolving cases efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office or customer service setting is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Guides claimants through the claims process from start to finish.
• Interacts with claimants, service providers, employers, and attorneys via phone and email.
• Learn insurance and claims principles through our training program to independently manage client claims.
• Gather and review information needed for claims decisions.
• Maintain organized handling of multiple cases and ensure timely resolutions.
