Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Plano, TX invites college sophomores and juniors to explore careers in claims through an immersive, hands-on program at our Plano office. Participants will tour the facility, engage with claims leaders, and gain insights into the role of claims at a Fortune 100 Company.

Participants will build connections, experience mock claims scenarios, and learn about Summer 2025 internship opportunities through a competitive selection process that includes a virtual interview

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Be available to participate and attend the full length of the program in person.
• Be on track to graduate in 2026, 2027 or 2028.
• You are fully authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions now and in the future.

About The Claim Your Career Discovery Program

Claim Your Career offers a unique, immersive experience designed specifically for college sophomores and juniors who are interested in exploring the insurance industry with a focus in the field of claims. This program provides an in-depth look at the dynamic career pathways within claims.

Participants in the program will engage in a variety of activities, including building connections with employees and executive leadership, touring our Plano, TX office and visiting our interactive training facility. By the end of the program, participants will have a clear understanding of careers in claims and the role of claims at a Fortune 100 Company.

Claim Your Career will take place on Wednesday, October 29th in Liberty’s Plano, TX Office. This in-person event is for those located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Through this program, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their business acumen and be prepared to secure a Summer 2025 internship.

When it starts

The externship will take place October 29th, 2026. Applicants who meet basic criteria must complete a virtual interview before being invited to Claim Your Career. This is a highly competitive program with limited space.
