State Farm is seeking a Claim Specialist in Injury for a remote role within 50 miles of New Albany, OH. You will review injury claims, gather information, interview involved parties, and evaluate documents to determine liability and damages.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and multitasking across platforms. You will negotiate settlements within policy limits, document activities, and collaborate with legal, medical, and risk teams to ensure proper claim handling.

Auto Injury is a customer-facing segment handling bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured claims along with property damage claims involving injuries. Claims will be tiered within Injury based upon their claim characteristics, complexity, and severity. This could range from non-attorney represented bodily injuries, up to attorney represented and/or litigation claims. Helping people recover from the unexpected can be one of the most rewarding aspects of the Injury claims position. We empower our claim handlers to take ownership of the customer experience, demonstrate learning agility, apply their knowledge, and lead through the eyes of our customers.

This is a remote position; however candidates must reside within 50 miles of New Albany, OH

Hours of operation and/or work arrangements are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.

• Potential starting salary range: $70,101.85 - $83,535.93


• Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience


• High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience


• Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
