Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Claims Processor to support the claims team. You will process entry-level and intermediate claims with high accuracy, follow approved workflows, and assist with adjustments as needed.

The role requires strong math skills, detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You should be able to work 40+ hours, communicate clearly, and learn new procedures through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of business environment experience preferred.
• Strong math competency and numerical comfort.
• Ability to efficiently operate a computer and office software.

Responsibilities

• Process entry-level and intermediate claims with 99%+ accuracy.
• Adhere to approved claim workflow requirements to maximize efficiency.
• Serve as backup to Claim Administration for adjustments as needed.
• Support call center during peak periods by handling provider and member calls as needed.
• Complete basic claim-related projects.

• Adhere to approved claim workflow requirements to maximize efficiency
• Serve as backup to Claim Administration team for entry-level adjustments to claims as necessary
• Serve as back up to call center during peak periods by taking provider and member calls
• Successfully complete basic claim-related projects

• Associate's degree or two years of experience in a business environment
