Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions in Canton, MA is seeking a Claim Assistant for our Specialty Claims Operations team on a hybrid schedule. You will provide general administrative, data entry, and customer service support to the Claims department, including initial file setups for new claims.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and 0–3 years of experience. The starting base salary is $50,000, with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits

The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Claim Assistant to join our Specialty Claims Operations team based in our Canton, MA office on a hybrid schedule. This position provides general administrative, and/or customer service and phone support to the Claims department. Some of the Claim Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Completes data entry and initial file setup for new claims.
• Prepares and processes claim and expense payments.
• Handles various administrative tasks.
• Interacts with customers to obtain loss information as well as respond to customer inquiries.

The expertise you bring

• High school diploma with demonstrated experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort in navigating multiple systems preferred.
• 0-3 Years of experience.
• Canton Hours of Operations: 8:30AM - 5PM ET
• Denver Hours of Operations 9:30AM - 6PM MT

The starting base salary for this position is $50,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include:
