Job summary

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) in Nashville, TN is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst to support departmental information security and CJIS compliance operations. You will work with MNPD IT and Metro ITS Information Security to maintain a secure environment for public-safety operations.

The role involves administering security technologies, conducting access and patch reviews, and assisting with awareness training and audits.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in information technology security and compliance operations.
• IT-related degree may substitute part of the experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FBI CJIS Security Policy and Metro Information Security Framework.
• Communicate CJIS/security alerts and directives to MNPD IT personnel.
• Maintain security documentation, system configurations, inventories and audit artifacts.
• Monitor identity/access management, endpoint/mobile security, logging/monitoring platforms.
• Assist incident reporting, remediation activities, and disaster recovery planning.
• Contribute to security awareness training for MNPD personnel and partners.
• Assist vendor security evaluations and risk management activities.
• Support 24x7 on-call security operations and related duties.
