Job summary

State of Oregon is seeking a Compliance Specialist 2 – Law Enforcement Data Systems in Salem for a full-time, in-office position. You will develop CJIS audit programs, coordinate with staff, and promote compliance with data system policies.

Preferred candidates will have deep CJIS policy knowledge, strong analysis abilities, and experience with LEDS or similar systems, supporting training and outreach for users.

Qualifications

• Four years of administrative research experience.
• Two of the four years must be above the technical support level.
• College coursework may substitute for experience (45-quarter units/year, up to three years).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program documents and audit functions for CJIS compliance.
• Collaborate with audit and training staff to monitor program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance, training, and outreach to CJIS user communities.
• Investigate system misuse or violations and recommend corrective action.
• Represent CJIS at meetings and user events.
