Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Lead (Civil Works) to drive multi-disciplinary analysis for dams, levees, and civil works in Southern California, including project management and mentoring.

This role emphasizes coordination across disciplines, business development, and technical leadership in a growing HDR program. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of civil engineering experience, a PE license, and strong leadership capabilities, with a willingness to pursue California PE registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience with at least 2 years in PM.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the licensing board.
• MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration.
• Willingness to obtain California PE registration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline analysis within Civil Works program.
• Provide project management, business development, and mentoring.
• Oversee design development, planning, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with site land development, structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic teams.
