Job summary

Preferred candidates hold an MS in Civil Engineering, 15+ years of experience, and are prepared to pursue California PE registration. Bentley MicroStation and related civil engineering tools experience is beneficial; a proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE) is preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline analysis within HDR’s Civil Engineering Lead (Civil Works) program.
• Provide project management, business development, and mentoring to a team of civil engineers and designers.
• Oversee project design development, planning, scheduling, and final design analysis for dams, spillways, and hydraulic structures.
