Job summary

B&L Construction is seeking an Underground Utility Operator to drive water main and underground utility installs on civil sitework projects. You will operate heavy excavation equipment, perform precise trenching and road work, and lead on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of proven experience operating excavators and heavy equipment in a civil construction environment.
• Active OSHA 10 Certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience reading civil blueprints and site layouts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy excavation equipment to install water mains and underground utilities with precision.
• Perform trenching and road work per engineering blueprints and project specs.
• Lead on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
