Job summary

Heartland Staffing Solutions in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Project Manager for civil and electrical construction projects. The role offers compensation up to $160,000, depending on experience, and a direct-hire, long-term opportunity with an established Nebraska contractor.

The successful candidate will lead projects from startup through completion, coordinate crews, schedules, and budgets, and closely collaborate with field leaders, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure safety,

Qualifications

• Must have project management experience in construction.
• Strong field operations knowledge including crews, equipment, schedules, and costs.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, and project performance.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from startup through completion
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials and project schedules
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Estimators and Operations
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, production and overall financial performance
• Manage change orders, documentation, billing information and project closeout
• Review plans, specifications, contracts and project requirements
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, municipalities and other project stakeholders
• Identify potential issues early and develop solutions to keep projects moving
• Make sure field teams have the equipment, materials and information they need
• Maintain strong communication between field operations, customers and leadership
• Take ownership of project schedules, quality, safety and overall execution
