Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to join our team.

You will support multiple disciplines, providing production support for Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Process Engineering on projects in commercial, industrial, municipal, water, and wastewater infrastructure. You will work under experienced engineers on varied projects including roadways, sewers, water distribution, land survey tasks, and treatment facilities; a 0–3 year CAD background is typical, with

• Associate’s degree or equivalent certificate with AutoCAD/Civil 3D specialization is required.
• Revit experience is preferred.
• 0–3 years of CAD Technician experience in civil engineering field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Civil Engineering: roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site design and grading.
• Land Survey: processing of survey data, existing conditions drawings, 3-D DTM, survey stakeouts.
• Process Engineering: plan preparations for treatment facilities.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support multiple disciplines and provide production support for Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Process Engineering. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with experienced engineers on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, municipal, water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Civil Engineering - projects including roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site design and grading.
• Land Survey - Processing of survey data, creation of existing conditions drawings including 3-D DTM and standard drawings, creation of survey stakeouts, and other survey related tasks.
• Process Engineering – Plan preparations for treatment facilities.

What You'll Need

• Associate’s degree or equivalent certificate with specialization in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Revit experience preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience as a CAD Technician in the civil engineering field.

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
