Job summary

Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC) is seeking a Civil Superintendent to provide field leadership for self-perform civil construction including excavation, earthwork, utilities, and site development in Auburn Hills, MI.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, strong safety focus, and experience with earthwork, utilities, grading, and project coordination. Procore, Bluebeam, GPS layout, and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• 10+ years in civil construction; 5+ years in field leadership.
• Experience with earthwork, underground utilities, site development, and infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for civil and excavation activities from mobilization to project completion.
• Develop short- and long-term work plans aligned with project schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and logistics to maximize productivity.
• Review drawings, contracts, and schedules to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Project Management to develop execution plans and address challenges.
• Monitor daily production and ensure milestones are achieved safely and on schedule.
• Mentor and develop operators, laborers, and foremen to grow CCC's Civil Group.
