Job summary

Red Ox Construction is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on various civil sites and ensure crews perform daily and weekly activities to meet production goals safely.

The role requires 5+ years in supervisory heavy civil construction, with experience in earthwork, utilities, concrete, bridges, and highways, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Travel is required, and competitive pay plus benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, utilities, concrete, bridges, highways is a plus.
• Ability to lead crews, meet schedule and budget.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all field operations from start to completion of the project.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials according to schedule and plans.
• Delegate necessary tasks to the crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations to keep crew safe.
• Inspect work progress and adjust plans to meet schedule demands.
• Communicate with project managers on schedule, budget, and concerns.
• Manage daily documentation including reports, time sheets, and cost tracking.
• Promote a strong, accountable, and team-driven jobsite culture.
