Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Superintendent for a civil construction project. The role provides on-site leadership to foremen and crews, plans and coordinates on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.

Ideal candidates will have a track record of safety and team leadership, with heavy civil experience in earthwork and underground utilities, and strong communication skills to keep projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience leading civil construction crews.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specs and drawings.
• Strong supervisory skills over foremen, subcontractors and equipment.

Responsibilities

A Civil Construction Company is actively seeking a Civil Superintendent. The Superintendent will arrange the work and provide on-site leadership to foreman and crews. The Superintendent plans, coordinates, and supervises onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel. Civil Superintendent

• 5+ years of experience with a stable work history in Civil Construction
• Manage foreman, subcontractors and equipment to meet project goals
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate completion
• Heavy civil experience including earthwork, underground utilities, grading, excavation etc.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
