Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks Civil/Structural/Highway interns for the New England Branch with offices in Boston, Wilmington, Bedford, and Portsmouth.

Interns will perform field investigations, analysis, 3D design, drafting, plan development, and report writing while collaborating with experienced project teams on civil, bridge, highway, and water resources projects. The preferred candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with MicroStation and/or

Qualifications

• Student pursuing an engineering degree with interest in civil/structural/highway engineering.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design.
• Prepare cohesive engineering calculations.
• Drafting using 3D CAD software.
• Assist with layout and quantity development.
• Develop task deliverables for review by a Senior Engineer.
• Support field inspections of future project locations and active sites.
• Assist with report writing.
