Wells Concrete is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Intern to join the Engineering Development Program. You will gain hands-on experience across quality control, field services, and engineering design, rotating through multiple areas to build technical skills and identify a long-term career path.

The role provides exposure to precast manufacturing, construction operations, and structural design while collaborating with Professional Engineers and field leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Interest in precast concrete, structural design and construction operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Quality Control technicians and support plant inspection activities.
• Perform concrete testing in laboratory environments.
• Learn and use Concrete Vision (CV) or similar production tracking systems.
• Interpret blueprints and communicate work plans to field crews.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and weekly progress updates.
