Wells Concrete in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Engineering Intern to participate in the Wells Engineering Development Program. You will gain hands-on experience across quality control, field services, and engineering design while rotating through multiple areas to build skills and identify a long-term career path.

As an intern, you will shadow professionals, assist with concrete testing, learn production-tracking systems, read blueprints, and support layout, scheduling, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Interest in precast concrete, structural design, and construction operations.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in office, plant, and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Quality Control technicians and assist plant inspections.
• Perform concrete testing in lab environments.
• Learn and use Concrete Vision or similar tracking systems.
• Assist with pre-pour inspections and formwork checks.
• Support NCR data analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate with field crews on layouts and scheduling.
