Job summary

ProSidian Seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer (Civil-Structural Analyst) to support SRMC at Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC. The role focuses on advanced structural analysis, SSI, seismic evaluation, and code-compliant design for nuclear/industrial facilities.

The candidate will work as part of the ProSidian Engagement Team under SRR guidance, performing field walk-downs and complex analyses to ensure safety and compliance for DOE-SRS programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Working knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS, SASSI, DYNA3D or similar codes.
• Knowledge of National Codes and Standards (IBC, AISC, ASCE, ACI).
• Ability to perform field walk-downs of structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analyses of various structures to validate design adequacy for normal operation and accident loading conditions.
• Develop in-structure seismic response spectra and evaluate wind, missile, rain, flood, snow and blast loading effects.
• Perform field walk-downs to support engineering evaluations.
