Job summary

Mid-States Concrete Industries is hiring a Civil/Structural Engineer Intern in Beloit, WI. The role trains you to perform structural analysis and design for precast/prestressed concrete, with guidance through ASCE 7, ACI 318, and PCI Design Handbook. You will work with engineers, drafters, PMs, and manufacturing to move projects from concept to production.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program with structural emphasis.
Basic knowledge of structural analysis and codes.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of precast/prestressed elements under supervision.
Lead engineering phases and review documents to identify design requirements.
Prepare calculations, load determinations, and shop drawing details.
Collaborate with engineering, drafting, PM, and production teams.
Respond to RFIs and support design queries; site visits as needed.
