Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer III for Ground System Test Engineering and Development in the Greater Seattle Area. You will design and analyze civil structures, foundations, and test stand components, ensuring safety and reliability under extreme loads during rocket engine testing.

You will develop 3D models and drawings, lead structural assessments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to bring facilities from concept to activation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Reporting to the Director of Test Engineering and Development, your primary focus will be the design and analysis of civil structures — foundations, structural steel frames, and facility structural systems — that form the backbone of test infrastructure capable of handling the extreme loads of rocket engine testing.
