Job summary

CTS-Complete Technical Services, Inc. in Pasadena, TX seeks a senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 6+ years’ experience in petrochemical projects to design foundations, pipe racks, supports and access platforms.

You will manage multiple projects within cost and schedule constraints, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and apply AutoCAD, CADWorx, RISA and Hilti Profis for structural modeling, in line with ASCE/AISC/ACI/IBC codes.

Qualifications

• Six years in-depth Civil/Structural engineering design and construction in petrochemical industries.
• Current Texas PE license preferred.
• Experience with EPC projects.
• Proficiency with ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC codes.
• Familiarity with laser scans in facility design.
• Proficient AutoCAD usage.

Job description

• Prepare structural and foundation designs for industrial projects.
• Design of heavy equipment foundations for industrial projects.
• Design pipe racks, pipe supports, access platforms, pump foundations and vessel foundations.
• Manage the cost and time constraints of multiple projects at one time.
• Prepare and maintain all safety and environmental aspects of a project.
• Work within company policy as outlined in the Employee Handbook as well as the Safety Manual, Work Processes, and OSHA Safety rules.
• Ability to execute designs using structural design software (RISA Products, calculation spreadsheets, Hilti Profis, AutoCAD, CADWorx)

Essential Qualifications:

• Six years imnimum of in-depth experience in Civil / Structural engineering design and construction within the petrochemical industries.
• Current Texas Professional Engineer License preferred.
• Previous relevant EPC company experience.
• Competent proficiency with current industrial codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, PIP).
• Familiarity with utilizing laser scans in facility design.
• Competent proficiency in AutoCAD
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions, communications, understanding and personal presence
• Ability to work with others to achieve job goals
• Competent proficiency with structural engineering analysis and design using structural modeling software (RISA products, Hilti Profis).
