Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

About the Opportunity

We are representing a top-tier client in their search for a skilled Forensic Civil Structural Engineer (PE or SE). This role offers the chance to work on complex forensic investigations, provide expert consultation, and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. Regular travel to project sites within the region will be part of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site inspections, collect data, and conduct testing.
  • Prepare detailed reports that capture findings, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Work with local authorities to guide repair processes.
  • Conduct research and develop technical content for industry publications.
  • Present technical information to clients and colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • Over 10 years of experience in forensic engineering or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience serving as an expert witness.
  • Background in design, construction, or forensic assessments.
  • Knowledge of storm damage and building envelope evaluations is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in diverse environments.
  • Ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
