A leading engineering firm is currently seeking a Drafter, Mechanical for a direct hire position in Charlotte, NC. This in-office role requires proficiency in drafting, both manual and computerized, along with excellent communication skills. Candidates must have a high school diploma with drafting coursework and familiarity with CADD techniques. Responsibilities include preparing mechanical isometrics, piping plans, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD is preferred, along with a strong ability to manage time across concurrent projects.

Competenze

• Education or experience in engineering drafting and familiarity with basic drafting techniques.
• Able to accurately draw complex mechanical systems from sketches or specifications.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to utilize various drafting and CADD techniques for project requirements.
