STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to be based in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, working remotely. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex industrial construction projects that strengthen and prolong the life of structures.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Managing self-performed complex repair and restoration projects
  • Managing front-end phases of restoration projects, including investigative and engineering phases, and supporting the development of cost estimates and proposals for subsequent construction phases
  • Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions in collaboration with internal contracts teams
  • Developing and managing project schedules with field leadership
  • Maintaining profit & loss responsibility and managing other project financials including projections
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
  • Working with Estimators and Sales teams to review bids and develop proposals
  • Evaluating project risks and potential losses
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrating commitment to safety and quality control on all projects
  • Travel expectation is 50%

Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial construction and/or restoration industry
  • Experience managing construction projects valued between $5 million and $15 million
  • Previous experience with structural concrete repair projects
  • Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Strong leadership skills for training and mentoring team members
