Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks a Civil / Structural Construction Manager to represent the owner across earthworks, foundations, and heavy machinery installations for the Cedar Creek project. You will oversee site preparation, mass concrete placement, and coordination of structural steel and building work.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in civil/structural construction, 5+ years supervising, and a strong track record with owner representation under lump-sum EPC contracts.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in civil/structural construction
• 5+ years supervising
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract
• Hands-on experience with mass concrete and heavy machine foundations
• Working knowledge of ACI and AISC standards
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee earthworks, site preparation and underground services installation.
• Monitor foundation and mass concrete placement, including machine foundations.
• Oversee structural steel and building installation.
• Track survey control and as-built accuracy.
• Review construction work packages and flag scope or constraint gaps early.
• Attend system walkdowns and identify punch list items.
• Monitor preservation and storage of embedded items and structural materials.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project on a greenfield site. As Civil / Structural Construction Manager you represent the owner for everything the plant is built on: earthworks, foundations, mass concrete, machine foundations, underground services, steel and buildings.
