Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager for the Cedar Creek 1,100 MW gas turbine project. You will represent the owner on electrical installation across generator connections, switchgear, transformers and busduct, ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires 12+ years in electrical construction on power plants with 5+ years in supervision, and 5+ years representing an owner under a lump-sum EPC contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent field experience.
• 12+ years in electrical construction on power plants, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
• Hands-on experience with generator connections and medium voltage systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of generator connections, switchgear, transformers and busduct.
• Monitor cable installation, terminations and grounding across the plant.
• Oversee lighting, small power and electrical balance of plant.
• Track electrical interfaces at the project boundary.
• Review construction work packages and flag scope or constraint gaps early.
• Attend system walkdowns and identify punch list items.
• Monitor preservation and storage of electrical equipment through to installation.
