Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a CM engineer to join our new fab project in Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee construction planning, scheduling, resource monitoring, and interface coordination while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with local codes.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture, 3+ years in CSA construction within the U.S., familiarity with Project, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and fluent English. PE license is a plus. Clean room work experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture.
  • Familiar with project scheduling software (MS Project) and graphic software (AutoCAD); BIM (Revit) is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of U.S. CSA construction experience.
  • Knowledge of international building regulations and construction sequencing.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; PE license a plus.
  • Willing to work in a clean room environment.

  • Overall control of the project schedule.
  • Planning, allocation, and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
  • Logistic planning and management of the construction site.

  • Handling construction payments and change orders.
  • Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
  • Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
  • Monitoring the design progress and identifying risks based on schedule requirements.

TSMC Arizona is looking for aCM engineer to join our new fab project, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Building Construction Department responsibilities will encompass code interpretation, project planning and scheduling, resource monitoring and control, interface coordination, as well as oversight on quality, safety, and security.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities include:

  • General responsibility of the CM engineer.
  • Ensuring CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  1. B.S. Degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture.
  2. Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.
  3. At least 3 years of experience in the U.S. in CSA construction or a related field.
  4. In-depth understanding and practical experience on international building regulations and construction sequence.
  5. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
  7. Professional Engineer license is a plus.
  8. Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
  9. Willing to work in a clean room environment.
