Clinton Engineering is seeking a Civil Superintendent based in Clinton, IA. The ideal candidate will oversee field operations on multiple civil projects, coordinate with Project Managers, ensure safety, and manage site documentation.

The role requires experience in civil construction, leadership, and the ability to read plans and use an iPad or computer. Based in Clinton, IA with some travel within a 2-hour radius, this position offers competitive compensation and benefits as part of a growing

Qualifications

• Previous civil construction experience as a foreman or superintendent.
• Demonstrated leadership & coaching experience in a previous work environment.
• Ability to read and interpret grading plans, specifications, plan, and drawings; use an iPad and computer equipment regularly.
• Team player mentality and the desire to be part of a successful, hard-working team.
• Superior time management and technical capacity skills.
• Enjoy working in a physical role.
• Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Track production quantities and compare to estimated costs to meet specs.
