Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Civil Site Staff Engineer in Austin, TX. You will learn hands-on site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management, and collaborate with licensed engineers on land development projects.

You’ll work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel to refine construction plans and support permit applications while growing your career through mentorship and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related program.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites.
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Team Leaders on land development projects.
• Gain hands-on experience in drafting, plan production, field inspections, design coordination, and cost estimation.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support real-world design and stormwater management solutions.
• Assist with calculations, permit applications, writing technical specs, and creating exhibits and presentation materials.
• Take on a variety of project-related tasks, giving you broad exposure to how land development projects move from concept to construction.
• Other duties as assigned
