American Structurepoint in Cleveland, OH is seeking an entry‑level Staff Engineer to support land development projects. You will work with licensed engineers on site design, including grading, utilities, parking, roadways, and stormwater management.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel while collaborating with project teams to create plans and construction documents for local communities.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon‑to‑be graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or related program.
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Team Leaders on land development projects (industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban redevelopment, affordable housing).
• Get hands‑on experience in drafting, plan production, field inspections, design coordination, and cost estimation.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support design and stormwater management solutions.
• Assist with calculations, permit applications, technical specs, and exhibits/presentations.
• Contribute to project tasks from concept to construction.

In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You’ll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the design and development of land development projects that impact local communities. This role works extensively with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel as you create and refine construction plans.

• Take on a variety of project‑related tasks, giving you broad exposure to how land development projects move from concept to construction
• Other duties as assigned
