Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Civil/Site Engineering Intern to join our Clinton, NJ office for Summer 2027. You will work on real client projects, develop site plans and grading layouts, and gain exposure to permitting, compliance, and field inspections.

You will use AutoCAD Civil3D to create grading and utility plans, assist with due diligence, and participate in our multi-disciplinary internship program designed to build transferable skills and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Learn stages of Land Development process and participate in Accelerator Program.
• Design grading, concept, stormwater, and utility plans using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Research zoning ordinances, environmental regs and local codes.
• Work on real client projects and gain broad exposure across the firm.
