Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Civil/Site Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our Holmdel, NJ office. You will gain hands-on experience on projects shaping communities, from solar designs to residential and urban developments, using AutoCAD Civil3D.

You will assist with due diligence, permitting, and on-site inspections for diverse sites. You will learn the Land Development process through our Accelerator Program, contribute to grading and utility design, and collaborate with a

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Hydrology or Hydraulics coursework or previous experience preferred.
AutoCAD experience preferred.
Civil3D experience preferred.
HydroCAD experience a plus.
Specific interest in Land Development/Stormwater.
Eligible to work in the US and attend a US university.

Responsibilities

Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in a multi-disciplinary firm.
Learn stages of the Land Development process and participate in the Land Development Accelerator Program.
Use AutoCAD Civil3D to design Grading Plans, Concept Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, and Utility System Plans.
Research zoning ordinances, environmental regulations, and local municipal codes.
Work on real, billable client projects from the start of the internship.
Participate in additional internship programming and networking opportunities.
