Job summary

Benesch in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Civil/Site Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support planning, design, and development of civil projects. You will work with experienced engineers on site investigations, drafting, data analysis, project design, and construction support.

This role offers exposure to real-world projects, field visits, and mentorship while developing skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous internship, co-op, or field experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Interest in civil/site engineering, land development, infrastructure, and built environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site investigations and technical drafting.
• Contribute to data analysis and project design.
• Provide construction support and field assistance.
• Support engineers with site layouts, grading, and drainage plans.
• Assist with AutoCAD/Civil 3D drawings and project documentation.
