Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Landscape Architecture Design Intern to support planning, design, and presentation efforts. You will collaborate with the Design Team, aiding drafting, rendering, site surveys, and client presentations while using AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D modeling programs, and other design tools.

Based in Glastonbury, CT, this on-site internship offers exposure to real-world project work and mentorship from experienced professionals, with opportunities to learn workflows and maintain

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related design field.
• Familiar with landscape terminology, plant materials, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; moderate Photoshop and 3D modeling skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support landscape architecture projects’ planning, design, and presentation tasks.
• Draft, render, and draft site surveys under guidance of design team.
• Assist with client presentations and project workflows in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D tools.
• Participate in site visits and travel to project locations as needed, documenting details.
