This senior role leads project reviews, coordinates with clients, and mentors staff on plan preparation. A PA PE license and a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering are required, with 10+ years in municipal engineering or private land development and knowledge of PA regulations. Strong MS Office proficiency and team communication are essential.

GPI is seeking a Civil Site Engineer - Project Manager for our Land Development group in our Scranton, PA office.

Responsibilities

• Review of civil engineering plans including public infrastructure, private, commercial, and residential development plans to ensure compliance with relevant codes
• Evaluation and review of stormwater management permits and plans
• Assistance and mentoring of staff on engineering and plan preparation
• Interact with clients regarding ongoing projects
• Attend meetings, including staff meetings and municipal board meetings as needed
• Assistance with public works projects for clients

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania (PA) Professional Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• Ten plus years of experience in municipal engineering and/or private land development
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and municipal codes
• Experience with land use regulations and permitting in Pennsylvania

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
