Greenman-Pedersen Inc. is seeking a Civil Site Engineer - Project Manager for our Land Development group in Scranton, PA. The role involves leading project reviews, coordinating with clients, and mentoring staff on engineering plans.

Candidates should hold a PA-licensed PE, have a bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and 10+ years in municipal engineering or private land development. A valid driver's license and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• PA Professional Engineer licensed.
• Ten+ years of municipal engineering and/or private land development experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and municipal codes (PA).
• Experience with land use regulations and permitting in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Review civil engineering plans for public infrastructure, private development, and residential/commercial projects.
• Evaluate and review stormwater management permits and plans.
• Mentor staff on engineering and plan preparation.
• Interact with clients regarding ongoing projects.
• Attend staff and municipal board meetings as needed.
• Assist with public works projects for clients.

Responsibilities

• Review of civil engineering plans including public infrastructure, private, commercial, and residential development plans to ensure compliance with relevant codes
• Evaluation and review of stormwater management permits and plans
• Assistance and mentoring of staff on engineering and plan preparation
• Interact with clients regarding ongoing projects
• Attend meetings, including staff meetings and municipal board meetings as needed
• Assistance with public works projects for clients

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
